WHO WE ARE

Birla Cotsyn started its operation in 1932. The Sprawling unit is located at Malkapur & Khamgaon (Maharashtra) in the industrial belt of Central India. Birla Cotsyn (India) Limited is having Cotton Ring Spun Yarn, Open End Yarn and Synthetic Blended Yarn manufacturing facility with state of Art machineries. The company has excellent sales network in India and abroad for 100% Grey Cotton Yarn, Grey and Dyed Solid Griddles, Fancy, Knitting and Weaving Yarns in various blends and counts.

Under this venture about Rs. 300 Cr investment has taken place in Malkapur & Khamgain. Malkapur has facilities of about 42, 000 spindles to manufacture cotton yarn both combed and compact spreading over 100 acres of land at MIDC Malkapur. This setup has also 114 airjetlooms.

The state Government has conferred “MEGA PROJECT STATUS” to the project.

Further expansion plan is being considered to increase present capacity of 42000 to 100000 Spindles.

Birla Cotsyn is also having its Ginning and Pressing units at Khamgaon and Ghatanji (Maharashtra), its provide the advantageous to get the best raw material for its cotton spinning unit.

Birla Cotsyn is in the process of setting up an integrated textile unit.

By expanding into other parts of the textile value chain Birla Cotsyn is leading the way to a vibrant world of productive excellence.
